Start date: As soon as possible

The ideal candidate should possess the following profile:

  • An overall positive attitude
  • Extremely outgoing and open to talking to anyone and everyone, approachable
  • Energetic and driven
  • Well spoken, polite, uses proper business language
  • Upholds the highest level of customer service
  • A desire to ensure that customers are happy with their experience
  • Basic knowledge of technology and a willingness to learn to a new point of sale system
  • Ability to maintain composure and work quickly in a fast-paced team environment
  • Minimum 1-2 years bartending experience in a fast-paced environment, more experience preferred
  • Must be over 21 years of age

Main responsibilities:

  • Open the bar, re-stock, clean, organize and prepare for happy hour, tours and events
  • Close the bar, clean bar and all customer areas, participate in deep cleaning of bar when needed
  • Greet customers and accept orders
  • Set up, then clean up product tastings
  • Bartend / prepare specialty cocktails
  • Interact with customers and answer questions about the distillery and our products
  • Operate the register and accept payment from customers
  • Up/cross-sell products and merchandise to customers
  • Provide customers with a fun and informative experience
  • Publicly represent the Witherspoon Distillery family in a wholesome, friendly, and approachable manner.
  • Current schedule can include Friday afternoons, full Saturdays, some holidays (scheduled in advance) and occasional private parties
